Welcome to the Bee-Banquet blog! Our product has been several years in the making. This short video was filmed at 6:12AM on July 18, 2019 at our apiary in Western North Carolina. The objective of the experiment below was to compare the ability of different bee feeders to attract and provide sustenance to bees. Three types of feeders were tested: a gravity feeder, a vacuum controlled feeder and a tube feeder. Each feeder was filled with a homemade sugar water solution, mimicking the nectar found in flowers. To find the answer, we waited to see which bottle became empty first. This was repeated several times in different locations, both hanging and stationary.

Later, we evaluated how each performed for color and well design (shape of the drinking cells). Stay tuned for those details.
